Trivium Interactive and JANIGA DESIGN are working on the design of the permanent exhibits for the re-envisioned Museum of African American History in Boston. The exhibits focus on the life and history of Boston's black community from 1638, when the first slaveship docked in Boston, to the present day. The new exhibits include galleries devoted to 17th and 18th century Boston, including the city's relationship with slavery; 19th century Boston, when both the Abiel Smith School and the African Meeting House were built, and the black community blossomed in Beacon Hill; and the 20th and 21st centuries.
